The visit was a bit of a coup for our Performing Arts faculty.

Lucien arrived in style in a Range Rover with blacked out windows. He was accompanied by two brilliant, gym-pumped dancers, a support act in singer and rapper, Cameron, and even his own authentic muscle-bound bouncer! (We thought he´d accidentally left the coat hanger in his t-shirt!) It was all very exciting and an insight into the world of showbiz.

Lucien sang his new single, ´Dance With You´, and then spent a good while having his photograph taken with lots of the pupils. He was really charming and seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He was very generous with his time although he was on a tight schedule. And he kissed and hugged all the staff so he can come back ANY time he likes.

This was one of those rare occasions when we ran an activity which has little educational value, but it created huge excitement and gave the children a fun experience they will remember for years. What more could we ask?

We wish him all the best with the new single which is released on 22 April.
